Delivery
Shipping Policy
Please ensure a responsible person is present at the time of delivery. Driveways and walkways must be cleared and safe for delivery (e.g., free of snow and ice).
For large items, our team will contact you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment. Customers are responsible for being available during the confirmed delivery time window.
Delivery Scope
For houses, delivery includes placement in a designated room on the main floor or garage level only.
For condos and apartments, delivery includes placement in the designated room within the unit, provided access through elevators and hallways is available.
White glove service (including upstairs delivery, full placement, assembly, and removal of packaging) is available upon request. Please contact us in advance to arrange this service and confirm additional charges.
Delivery Conditions & Access
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
The delivery path is clear and accessible
Doorways, hallways, staircases, and elevators can accommodate the product
Adequate parking or access is available
If delivery cannot be completed due to conditions not caused by Clareca (including but not limited to access issues, space limitations, or customer unavailability), our team will proceed to the next scheduled delivery.
A re-delivery fee may apply, or the order can be picked up from our location.
Customer Responsibilities
It is the customer’s sole responsibility to:
Measure all furniture and ensure it fits the intended space
Confirm all access points (doors, stairs, elevators)
Protect floors and surfaces during delivery
Our delivery team:
Cannot disassemble or move existing furniture or electronics
Cannot remove safety footwear
Tight Fit & Risk Acknowledgement
In situations where delivery may be a tight fit, customers may choose to:
Approve the delivery attempt and release Clareca from liability for any potential damage, or
Decline delivery and arrange an alternative solution
Missed Delivery / Failed Delivery
If no one is present at the scheduled delivery time, or delivery cannot be completed:
A second delivery fee may apply, or
The order must be picked up by the customer
Returns & Restocking
Returns or exchanges due to size, fit, or access issues may be subject to a restocking and clearance fee of 20% of the total amount (after tax).
General Notes
Delivery services are provided within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Additional charges may apply for deliveries outside this area.
In-Store Picking up
Enjoy fast, friendly, and free in-store pickup! Once your order is placed, please allow approximately 3–4 business days for preparation. We will contact you by phone or email as soon as your order is ready for pickup. When you arrive, our team will be happy to assist you with loading the items into your vehicle.
